Marks & Spencer

We have completed numerous M&S projects over the past few years in partnership with McLaughlin & Harvey. Stores worked on have been throughout Ireland and Scotland. All projects involved the fit out of stores to achieve M&S’s corporate identity. Our elements of work generally include the construction of metal stud partitions and wall linings with a plasterboard and taped & jointed finish and a monolithic MF plasterboard ceiling with integrated lighting. Projects worked on currently include:

  • M&S main store Patrick Street Cork. This project was a demanding refurbishment of an existing live store which was carried out in phases to keep the store trading, with out of hours work required in key circulation areas. This €800,000 project was completed in September 2006.
  • M&S main store Abbey Centre Belfast. This was a £600,000 new build store completed in August 2006.
  • M&S main store Royal Avenue Belfast. This project was a demanding refurbishment of an existing live store which was carried out in phases to keep the store trading, with out of hours work required in key circulation areas. This £1,000,000 project was completed in October 2007.
  • M&S main store Forrestside Belfast. This was a £500,000 extension and refurbishment of an existing store completed in October 2007.
  • M&S simply foods Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Scotland. This was a £50,000 refurbishment of an existing shell completed in April 2007.
  • M&S simply foods Westhill Shopping Centre, Aberdeen, Scotland. This was a £65,000 refurbishment of an existing shell completed in April 2007.
  • M&S simply foods Boucher Road, Belfast. This was a £130,000 fit out of a new retail warehouse shell completed in October 2007.
  • M&S simply foods Armagh. This was a £50,000 fit out of a new retail warehouse shell completed in April 2008.
  • M&S simply foods Cookstown. This was a £70,000 fit out of a new retail warehouse shell completed in May 2008.
  • M&S simply foods Bow Street Mall, Lisburn.

    This was a £80,000 fit out of a new retail warehouse shell completed in July 2008.

  • M&S Ayr, Scotland. This is a £350,000 refurbishment of and existing store due for completion October 2008.
